About the position
Mirakl is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) who will play a critical role in the company's growth. As the first point of contact in the sales cycle, the BDR will be responsible for researching target accounts, identifying key players, and crafting targeted messaging. They will work closely with experienced Enterprise Account Executives to develop prospecting plans and gain access to key accounts. The BDR will also conduct discovery and qualification calls with senior leaders at large enterprises to create sales-ready opportunities. This role offers the opportunity for career progression into sales or other departments within the company.
Responsibilities
- Research target accounts, identify key players, and craft targeted messaging
- Partner closely with experienced Enterprise Account Executives to determine persona targets, develop prospecting plans, and strategize creatively to gain access to key accounts
- Conduct discovery and qualification calls with senior leaders at large enterprises to create sales-ready opportunities for Account Executives
- Be the prospecting subject matter expert and share learnings and best practices of the outbound process with the organization to support the success of the team
- Have goals across performance and skill development to achieve career progression from business development into sales or other departments
- Previous successful sales experience OR a strong desire to begin a sales career
- Excellent communication, discovery, and presentation skills (written and verbal)
