Overview We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team and play a key role in developing clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for our hardware products, including door closers and related systems. This role is essential in ensuring customers, distributors, and internal teams can properly install, use, and understand our products. The ideal candidate combines strong writing expertise with the ability to translate complex technical information into accessible, well-structured content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or hardware-focused environment
  • Proven ability to understand and communicate technical product information clearly and accurately
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and document management systems
  • Experience in SolidWorks, Corel Draw

Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including: Installation instructions and templates, Product manuals and technical guides, Supporting customer-facing materials
  • Partner closely with engineering, product management, and production teams to gather and validate technical information
  • Translate complex product specifications into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for customers and distributors
  • Maintain and update documentation to reflect product changes, enhancements, and continuous improvements
  • Ensure consistency in formatting, terminology, tone, and branding across all materials
  • Support document control processes, including versioning, revision tracking, and file organization
  • Review and edit documentation for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to company standards and quality expectations
  • Contribute to improving documentation processes, templates, and standards
