The Wildlife Technician supports the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe’s ongoing responsibility to care for the lands, waters, and its inhabitants within its ancestral lands. Guided by the Wildlife Program Manager, this position helps carry forward the Tribe’s role as stewards by bringing together Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) and Western science to protect and sustain wildlife and habitats for future generations. This role contributes to the Tribe’s cultural and ecological responsibilities by supporting wildlife monitoring, habitat stewardship, and management planning. The Wildlife Technician helps ensure that knowledge, both cultural and scientific, is respectfully documented, protected, and applied in ways that reflect Snoqualmie values.
