Pest Control Technician - Wildlife

About The Position

Arrow Exterminators is hiring a full-time Wildlife Technician to provide service to residential and commercial wildlife-control customers through exclusion, trapping, and wildlife removal. Exclusion work may include sealing, caulking, or installing sheet metal around soffits, gutter lines, roof ridges, vents, and other voids. This work is often performed from rooftops or ladders and may require basic carpentry. Technicians identify and address wildlife problems by asking customers about their concerns, inspecting homes to locate the source, determining and explaining a suitable solution, and completing the agreed service. After service, technicians collect payment and propose additional useful services. They independently run and schedule their services. The role requires a minimum 40-hour work week and may involve evenings and weekends. A company vehicle is provided.

Requirements

Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing or certification exams.
Ability to pass internal technical exams.
Current driver's license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Professional appearance, including wearing an approved Arrow uniform.
Ability to work a minimum 40-hour work week.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Identify, remove, prevent, or repair damage caused by wildlife.
Ask customers about the wildlife issues they are experiencing.
Inspect customers' homes to identify the source of wildlife problems.
Determine and explain an appropriate solution and next steps to customers.
Perform wildlife exclusion, trapping, and removal.
Complete exclusion work such as sealing, caulking, and installing sheet metal around soffits, gutter lines, roof ridges, vents, and voids.
Collect payments after completing service.
Propose additional services that may benefit customers.
Independently run and schedule services.
