About The Position

Arrow Exterminators is hiring a full-time Wildlife Technician to provide residential and commercial customers with wildlife control services, including exclusion, trapping, and removal. Exclusion work may involve sealing, caulking, or installing sheet metal on soffits, gutter lines, roof ridges, vents, and voids. The work is often performed from rooftops or ladders and may require basic carpentry. The technician identifies, removes, and prevents wildlife problems and repairs wildlife damage. They ask customers about the issue, inspect the home to locate its source, determine and explain an appropriate solution, complete the service, collect payment, and propose additional beneficial services. Technicians work independently and schedule their own services. The role provides a company vehicle.

Requirements

Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing or certification exams.
Ability to pass internal technical exams.
Current driver's license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Present a professional appearance, including wearing an approved Arrow uniform.
Ability to work a minimum 40-hour work week.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide wildlife control services to residential and commercial customers through exclusion, trapping, and removal.
Seal, caulk, or install sheet metal on soffits, gutter lines, roof ridges, vents, and voids as part of exclusion work.
Identify, remove, and prevent wildlife problems and repair wildlife damage.
Ask customers about their concerns and inspect their homes to determine the source of the problem.
Determine and explain appropriate solutions and next steps to customers.
Collect payment upon completion of services and propose additional services that may benefit customers.
Independently run and schedule services.
