About The Position

Requirements

• Experience operating water trucks or similar heavy equipment preferred
• Strong focus on safety and situational awareness
• Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and inspections
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions
• Good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Operate water trucks to control dust on haul roads, pits, and stockpile areas
• Apply water safely to reduce dust without creating hazardous conditions
• Monitor and refill water tanks, pumps, and spray systems
• Inspect haul roads for visibility and safety concerns
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Track water usage and support reporting as needed
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized equipment and work areas
• Report equipment issues, hazards, and safety concerns promptly
• Support other operations as needed when water truck use is limited
• Follow all company safety policies and regulatory requirements
