About The Position
Moss Solar is hiring a CDL Water Truck Driver to support a utility-scale solar construction project at 31500 Northeast 224th Street, Okeechobee, Florida 34972. The role involves operating a water truck on an active construction site and transporting and distributing water for dust control and site operations. The driver also completes vehicle inspections and required documentation, communicates with project leadership and crew members, maintains equipment, and assists with general site duties as needed. The position requires frequent physical activity indoors and outdoors, exposure to varying weather conditions, and the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds. The employee may occasionally handle heavier loads with assistance and may encounter moving mechanical parts, elevated work areas, loud noise, and extreme temperatures. Requirements
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
- At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Strong focus on safety and compliance.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Pre-employment drug screening is required.
