About The Position
Ready to hit the road and make an impact on our growing business? Join us as an Automotive Parts Warehouse Shuttle Driver, and enjoy the freedom of being on the road and playing a crucial role in our business.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs., handle cash transactions, and process returns.
- Maintain a distribution log for all deliveries/pickups.
- Clear speaking and attentive listening skills.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive shuttle truck to destinations using the most efficient routes.
- Follow all safety policies and use appropriate safety equipment.
- Maintain Haz-Mat documentation per regulations.
- Safely and efficiently deliver shipments; load and unload truck.
- Inspect truck daily (tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, water).
- Secure products with shrink wrap or ties before loading.
- Ensure cargo is secure in the vehicle.
- Obtain signatures on all receipts and delivery tickets.
- Assist in loading vehicles from the assembly area.
- Clean and maintain the vehicle.
- Work well with others, follow directions, handle stress.
- Follow safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment.
- Perform non-driving duties (e.g., shipping/receiving); training provided.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
