Requirements
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems, steel fabrication, and welding processes.
- The ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
- High school diploma and completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and tool and die experience.
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair machine shop tools using machining operations and measuring instruments.
- Work from blueprints, models and sketches to repair or modify tools, dies, jigs, gauges and molds.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues in order to maintain quality standards.
- Accurately calculate dimensions and tolerances of tools.
- Assist in general housekeeping of the department.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while also maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
- Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.
