About The Position

The Tool And Die Maker supports manufacturing operations by minimizing downtime, increasing productivity, and maintaining the Toyota Production System and company policies and procedures. The role repairs and maintains progressive and transfer stamping tools, including stamping dies, fixtures, weld cells, and swage machines. The role uses manual and automatic surface grinders, precision measuring instruments, hand tools, and an overhead crane. It includes predictive preventive maintenance, die adjustments and repairs, verification of work in a spotting press, and recording completed processes in Asset Essentials. Team members use TPS and 5S practices, follow the TB Way philosophy, and may work beyond the regular schedule, including daily and weekend overtime, to meet plant demands.
