About The Position

Harvey Vogel Manufacturing Co. is seeking experienced Tool & Die Makers to build and maintain progressive, compound, and secondary dies that support its precision metal stamping and fabrication operations. The role involves building and troubleshooting new tooling, modifying existing tooling to meet customer requirements, and supporting tooling needs across multiple departments. The maker communicates job status and progress to department managers and maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dies. The position uses toolroom equipment safely and efficiently. Openings are available on first and second shifts. The position is full-time, with expected hours of at least 40 per week. Work is in person at the company’s Woodbury, Minnesota location. Available schedules include 10-hour or 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with day or evening shift options.

Requirements

Five years of toolmaking experience.
Experience building and maintaining progressive, compound, and secondary dies.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Proficiency with surface grinders, drill presses, Bridgeport mills, and secondary toolroom equipment.
Knowledge of safe, efficient operation of toolroom equipment.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to follow procedures and instructions in accordance with ISO requirements.
