About The Position
This role is for a Sterile Processing Technician I in a healthcare setting. The company is looking for individuals who are excited about working in healthcare and making an impact on the health and safety of others. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure success and career advancement. Sterile Processing Technicians work behind the scenes, reprocessing surgical instruments to ensure patient safety. They are continuously trained on industry best practices.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 0 - 1 years of transferable or previous Sterile Processing experience preferred
- CRCST or CBSPD certification (must obtain certification within 12 months of hire and maintain annually)
Responsibilities
- Reprocess surgical trays post-surgery; ensuring they are decontaminated, cleaned, inspected, sterilized, correctly assembled within a timely manner and ready for the next case
- Operate sterile processing washers, sterilizers, ultrasonic and drying cabinets
- Participate in regular on-site training
