About The Position
A part-time (24 hours Monday - Friday) Speech Language Pathologist, (ST / SLP), position is available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in New Canaan, CT. Preferred Therapy Solutions is a therapy company owned and operated by therapists, focusing on appropriate and ethical patient care. Management team members have experience in similar roles, understanding therapist needs for success and work-life balance. The company offers a generous paid time off package and a continuing education department. The success of residents relies on the success of therapists, and providing high-quality care leads to the best outcomes. The company aims to help patients reach their highest level of independence.
Requirements
- Possess a current Speech Language Pathologist license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
- Be flexible with hours

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
- Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
- Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
- Work well with others in a team setting
