About The Position

Bradenton Rehabilitation Hospital is hiring a PRN Speech Language Pathologist. The hospital opened in May 2026 and has 60 private patient rooms and two rehabilitation therapy gyms with cutting-edge technology.

The Speech Language Pathologist independently evaluates patients, determines treatment strategies, and delivers and/or delegates services to identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Current state Speech/Language Pathology license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross; online certification is not acceptable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet strict time frames.

Nice To Haves

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate patients with speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Determine treatment strategies.
• Deliver and/or delegate services to identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged disorders in the areas of speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing.
