About The Position
Theracare is hiring a PRN Speech/Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients in accordance with physician orders. The role uses therapeutic procedures to improve speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders and help patients overcome disabilities from a variety of causes. The Speech/Language Pathologist works as part of a therapy team, providing support and information within the Speech/Language Pathology discipline. Services may be provided in skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities, long-term care facilities, or home health care settings. Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Current state license/certification.
- Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to provide therapy services in skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities, long-term care facilities, or home health care settings.
- Demonstrated competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in the specific therapy discipline.
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

- Prefer a minimum of one year of experience in rehabilitation.
