About The Position

Theracare is an employee-owned Indiana provider of contract physical, occupational, and speech therapy that has served the community since 1996. The Speech/Language Pathologist evaluates and treats patients in accordance with physician orders, using therapeutic procedures to improve speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders and help patients overcome disabilities from a variety of causes. The position works as part of a therapy team, providing support and information within Speech/Language Pathology. Services may be provided in skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities, long-term care facilities, or home health care settings. The position is PRN.

Requirements

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Current state license or certification.
Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to provide therapy services in skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities, long-term care facilities, or home health care settings.
Competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in the specific therapy discipline.
Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

Nice To Haves

Prefer a minimum of one year of experience in rehabilitation.
