About The Position
Symbria is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to join the rehabilitation team at SL at Sheridan Oak Brook in Oak Brook, Illinois. The role focuses on supporting communication, cognition, and swallowing function for older adults through personalized treatment and compassionate care. New graduates are encouraged to apply; mentorship, training, and hands-on experience are available.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
- A current SLP license in the state of Ohio.
- A flexible schedule, including some weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in acute care, long-term care, or rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Create personalized treatment plans that support patient progress and purpose.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
- Encourage, coach, and celebrate patients’ progress.
- Support clinical programs focused on speech, cognition, and swallowing function.
- Meet documentation and productivity standards.
