About The Position
Looking for Qualified Interpreters! As a busy interpreting service provider, we are seeking to onboard hard-working, fully-bilingual foreign language interpreters to provide in-person interpretation for our local Nebraska clients. Would you like to make a difference in your community? This is a great opportunity for someone looking to use their cultural knowledge to help non English speakers in their area. Join our exceptional team and enjoy great job satisfaction along with flexible hours. We have an immediate need for Somali interpreters in the Lincoln area.
Requirements
- Fully bilingual
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/HIPAA compliance
- Must be available for IN PERSON interpretation only
- Must have transportation to attend appointments locally
- Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
- Must have access to a printer
- Proof of vaccination or documentation for medical/religious exemption
Nice To Haves
- Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
Responsibilities
