About The Position

HealthPRO Pediatrics is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their fun and growing outpatient pediatric and ABA clinic in Hampton, VA. This is a full-time or part-time W2 position with flexible scheduling options. The hourly rate is between $45-$55/hour. Full-time benefits include Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), generous PTO, free CEU's and more. Part-time benefits packages are also available. The clinic offers mentorship and growth opportunities with a collaborative team, including ABA providers, strong clinical support, and career growth opportunities. It is a diverse, therapist-led organization under the leadership of the Center Director. Requirements

  • Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations.
  • Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.
  • Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Monitor and adjust treatment plans.
  • Educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
