About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in application engineering or technical support, preferably in power systems or power generation.
• Years of experience and or electrical knowledge can be substituted for a bachelors degree.
• Strong technical writing skills with proven experience creating user documentation.
• Familiarity with electrical switchgear, electrical testing, and load bank operation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with documentation tools.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of power systems, generators, and electrical testing standards.
• Ability to create diagrams, schematics, and visual aids for technical documents.
• Experience with drawing software or similar tools for technical illustrations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for load bank products, assisting customers with selection, configuration, and control options.
• Collaborate with Sales to analyze customer requirements and recommend optimal load bank solutions for testing and commissioning of power systems.
• Provide remote technical support, troubleshooting, and training.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to improve product performance and features.
• Develop and maintain user manuals, installation guides, quick start guides, operation procedures, and troubleshooting documentation for load bank products.
• Create technical content for proposals, specifications, application notes, and marketing.
• Ensure documentation meets industry standards for clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear language for diverse audiences.
