About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2-5 years of experience in the health care field required
• Current AZ Driver’s License (valid and in good standing)
• Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Nice To Haves

• Associates Degree or higher preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in a training or education role preferred
• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred
• Emergency Medical Technician certification (valid within the state of Arizona) is preferred but not required
• Certified Nurse Assistant certification (current and valid within the State of Arizona) is preferred but not required
• Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures

Responsibilities

• Conducting New Hire Orientation
• Teaching CPR/First Aid and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training
• Ensuring staff maintain required competencies through initial and continuous monitoring of skills and knowledge at their assigned site
• Assessing and addressing safety practices and training needs at assigned units
• Supporting the creation, implementation, and evaluation of unit-specific training plans to promote best practices and enhance overall staff performance
