About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in Excel and performing data entry
• Three (3) years’ proven EHS or safety experience (preferably within the heavy construction industry)
• Current OSHA 30 in construction
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point.
• Demonstrated ability working independently and collectively, assertive, organized, detail oriented, punctual, and highly self-motivated.
• Must be able to work in a high functioning team environment.
• Display the highest levels of honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
• Take pride in your work and in the company.
• Communicate openly and strive for peak performance in daily tasks.
• Know and deliver the quality service MEI’s customers have come to expect.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 510 preferred.
• Three (3) years’ proven safety experience in a multi-site & multi-state organization.
• CHST is helpful but not required
• Associates degree in occupational safety, project construction safety experience, or similar industry, or equivalent years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the incident and injury-free field operation at their designated regional office site.
• Promote MEI’s safety culture.
• Support numerous disciplines within the Specialty Machinery Moving group.
• Assist with multiple safety and environment-related tasks to help ensure that all employees in all areas are working professionally and without risk of personal injury or impact to the facilities and equipment.
