The Safety Coordinator is charged with continuously improving the welfare of the workforce by reducing accidents/incidents.

Requirements

• Self-starter, detail oriented, ability to multitask
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently and communicate with management
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• 5 years of experience in EHS field

Responsibilities

• Develops Safety/Environmental policies, procedures, programs, training
• Develops continuous improvement goals for safety/environmental
• Tracks unsafe conditions/measurements/evaluations
• Audits safety/environmental practices
• Manages SDS Records
• Conducts safety/environmental/ training at all organizational levels
• Provides employees direction on Safety/Environmental compliance
• Analyzes injuries, identifies root causes, & develops corrective actions
