About The Position

The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Emergency Department in Stratford, Ontario. HPHA is a multi-site organization committed to proactive change, partnerships, performance, and valuing its people. This full-time position is located at Stratford General Hospital.

Requirements

  • Current registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Ability to work independently, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize and problem solve.

Nice To Haves

  • Recent clinical experience (minimum two years) in Emergency/Critical Care Nursing preferred.
  • Advance Paediatric Life Support (APLS) or Paediatric Advance Life Support (PALS).
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
  • Emergency Nursing Certificate (ENC).
  • Emergency Trauma Life Support (ETLS).
  • Trauma Management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide paediatric and adult assessment, including triage and Acuity Scale.
  • Perform 12 lead ECG Interpretation.
  • Administer Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
