The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) position is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients by utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status, determine the priority of the patient’s problems and needs, and implement clinical nursing interventions for acute, critical patients requiring intensive medical care. The role involves developing and performing patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. This position requires a current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and may require BLS, ACLS, or PALS certifications. Preferred qualifications include CNOR certification, SGNA certification, two years of RN experience in a Critical Care Department, completion of an OR internship program, and successful completion of Peri-op 101 training.
