About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide patient care in the PCU Oncology Unit, focusing on adult oncology and trauma PCU patients. The RN will work 12-hour day shifts with self-scheduling that balances the needs of the unit.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Self-scheduling experience with the ability to balance unit needs.
- Ability to work every other weekend.
- Experience with the EMR system Epic.
Nice To Haves
- ONS/ONCC certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for adult oncology and trauma patients.
- Titrate Insulin and Cardizem drips as needed.
- Float to other Med/Surg and PCU units when required, maintaining the same level of care.
