About The Position
Sierra at TJX Companies is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join their team. This role is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate will adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained to support various areas of the store. The position involves promoting a positive store culture, accurately handling transactions, promoting loyalty programs, maintaining merchandising standards, processing merchandise, and contributing to store recovery and cleanliness. The role also includes providing and receiving feedback, adhering to labor laws and policies, and supporting shrink reduction and safety awareness goals. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Possesses excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
- Possesses strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Capable of multi-tasking.

- Retail customer experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers.

- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
- Cross-training to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.
- Role modeling established customer experience practices.
- Supporting and embodying a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ringing customer purchases/returns and counting change.
- Promoting credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintaining and upholding merchandising philosophy and following established procedures.
- Accurately processing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor.
- Initiating and participating in store recovery as needed.
- Maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and the entire store.
- Providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
- Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment.
