About The Position

Tyler’s Place, a provider of Developmental Disabilities Division (DDD) services, is seeking a reliable and organized Receptionist to support our Day Program Director and administrative team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities, works well in a team environment, and is committed to providing excellent support to the families and members we serve, staff and team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous administrative or office experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office technology.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Adhere to HIPPA laws.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn new responsibilities as the role evolves.
  • Must possess a genuine passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, along with a commitment to providing compassionate, person-centered service and advocacy.
  • The ability to obtain a State of AZ Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card and pass a nationwide background check.
  • Must possess a valid AZ driver’s license.
  • Keep up to date with on-going Professional Development Trainings such as: Article 9, First Aid/CPR, CEUs and DCW.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Day Program Director.
  • Assist with general office operations and daily administrative tasks.
  • Answer phones, emails, and other communications professionally and promptly.
  • Regularly communicate and work closely with the agency Directors and Executives.
  • Understand that other job duties or needs may come up and be able to adapt as needed and accept change.
  • Organize, maintain, and update files, records, and reports.
  • Assist with data entry.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Demonstrates a strong desire to learn, grow professionally, and take on new responsibilities as training and experience expand within the role.
