About The Position

Requirements

• High school degree (or equivalent degree) with 0-2 years of experience
• Strong attention to detail and safety in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Computer skills – Inventory associates use laptops daily. Basic computer skills are a must.
• Operation of powered industrial equipment such as power jacks, forklifts, cherry picker, and/or reach trucks is required.
• Must be able to cross train and work in multiple areas of the facility as needed.

• Previous experience in an environment where overtime and working in different departments is a regular occurrence

Responsibilities

• Receives and stores product, picks and packs product for shipment, and ships orders.
• Inspect materials for orders verifying accurate quantity, lot number, expiration dates and product part number.
• Inventory experience - cycle counting experience, inventory reconciliation, scrapping out damaged product.
• Creates and/or ensures appropriate documentation is completed for orders.
• Reconciles inventory and may perform cycle counts and data entry functions as assigned.
• May involve operation of powered industrial equipment such as power jacks, forklifts, cherry picker, and/or reach trucks.
• Identifies and solves routine problems in work area with management team.
• Assist management team on organizational improvement projects such as lean and quality initiatives.
