About The Position
The Quality Technician I role at Behr supports manufacturing and quality operations by preparing and testing paint samples to ensure products meet quality control standards and drive improvements. No extensive lab experience is required as full training on equipment, procedures, and systems will be provided. Daily tasks involve quality checks, raw material assessments, and product improvement projects. Responsibilities include preparing and analyzing samples using lab equipment, performing tests such as viscosity, gloss, density, pH, and scrub testing, accurately recording results, comparing samples, and maintaining documentation. The role also involves reporting equipment or process issues and maintaining lab cleanliness and supplies.
Requirements

- Willingness to learn and grow skills.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Basic computer and technical skills (familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar software).
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SAP.
Responsibilities
