About The Position

The Quality Control Lab Technician performs hands-on laboratory testing to support the quality and consistency of allnex coatings and resin-based products. The role tests raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products, helping maintain customer standards and supporting troubleshooting and continuous improvement across the operation. The technician uses laboratory equipment and analytical test methods, documents and maintains quality-control data, and supports product release and complaint investigations.

Requirements

• Good computer literacy and excellent MS Excel skills.
• Self-starter with good communication skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in the sciences preferred.
• Previous laboratory experience is a plus.
• Experience with proprietary software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests according to written instructions, including tests using existing or newly introduced equipment.
• Perform mathematical calculations using supplied equations or spreadsheets.
• Use ERP software to control incoming materials, enter quality-control data, and generate certificates of analysis (COAs).
• Maintain housekeeping in the laboratory.
• Conduct quality control of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods, including quick troubleshooting.
• Understand analytical test methods.
• Ensure test equipment is calibrated and monitored.
• Ensure tests are carried out correctly and that documentation is current and accurate.
• Conduct and coordinate Round Robins and measurement variant analysis.
• Coordinate and investigate the complaint management process.
• Maintain accurate records of all quality-control data.
• Generate product information for release and troubleshooting.
