Quality Inspector (Day Shift)

About The Position
Arcosa Wind Towers is looking for a Quality Inspector for Day shift to join their team. This position will perform basic quality control testing and inspection of standard parts, units, equipment, or material to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write & speak English.
- Ability to work as a team, demonstrate high ethical standards, treat all coworkers with dignity and respect and support a positive working culture.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in 2 NDE inspection methods or ability to become certified.
- Qualified as Weld Inspection Specialist or the ability to become qualified within 90 days.
- Minimum of 2 years welding experience.
- 1 year experience with ISO standards.
Responsibilities
- May inspect incoming materials, or plates, outgoing materials, or fittings and welds throughout the manufacturing process.
- Perform nondestructive examination to verify specified dimension, strengths and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
- Proficiently utilizes inspection tools and measuring equipment.
- Performs inspection of finished product.
- Follow all safety rules and practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
