About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or equivalent technical field
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Proven project management capabilities
• Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, manufacturing, sales, and service teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques
• Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading

Nice To Haves

• Experience with quality systems, corrective actions, and process improvement preferred
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality systems is a plus
• Experience with ZEISS CMM and OGP systems is a plus

Responsibilities

• Maximize the effectiveness of the Quality function
• Develop quality and inspection plans and monitor manufacturing process performance
• Establish quality metrics and oversee inspection data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Lead initiatives focused on operational excellence, corrective action, and continuous improvement
• Maintain and control quality documentation
• Facilitate corrective and preventive action activities
• Identify cost reduction and process improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and service teams to establish quality standards for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products
• Coordinate resolution of technical and quality-related issues with internal teams
• Provide investigative support for customer complaints
• Conduct technical discussions with customers and suppliers regarding quality concerns
• Release inspection reports and related documentation ensuring compliance with customer requirements
• Prepare quality system manuals and procedures to meet regulatory standards
• Conduct and support internal and external audits as needed.
• Interpret engineering drawing, CAD models, and GD&T requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned
