About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State Guard Certification Registration Card.
• State driver’s license upon hire, as required by the facility.
• Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report, as required by the facility.

• Experience in healthcare security or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform security services, including electronic surveillance and systematic manual Security Officers’ rounds.
• Coordinate facility responses to potential problems involving patients, employees, and visitors.
• Enforce policies and procedures, ensuring equitable enforcement.
• Follow guidelines and ongoing monitoring techniques to help establish a safe workplace and environment of care.
• Work with the Environment of Care committee on a multidisciplinary approach to security and safety.
• Participate in employee awareness and education.
• Drive as needed for company business.
