About The Position
This position is for an Affordable Housing/Tax Credit Assistant Community Manager. The role involves supporting the Community Manager and maintenance team in managing a multimillion-dollar community asset. The responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, financial performance, optimizing net operating income, and carrying out ownership objectives. The company aims to create an environment for residents that exemplifies California living at its best.
Requirements
- Current or previous multifamily property management experience.
- Previous background as an Affordable Housing/Tax Credit Assistant Community Manager or Leasing Manager.
- Well versed in Affordable Housing.
- Experience in determining eligibility, securing 3rd party verifications, calculating household incomes, completing Tenant Income Certifications, and completing compliance reports.
- Understanding of maintenance operations, landlord tenant law, and fair employment and housing laws.
- Computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in financial statements, budget preparation, and monthly reporting.
- Yardi Voyager experience.
- College degree.

- Support the Community Manager and maintenance team.
- Oversee daily operations and financial performance of the community.

- Carry out the objectives of ownership.

- Secure 3rd party verifications.
