About The Position

ARIVA Construction is a growing construction company with a strong presence in South Texas. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our team and oversee projects from pre-construction through completion. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional who can manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with clients and trade partners, and keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, scheduling, and project coordination.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and multiple project stakeholders.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Experience with project budgets, cost tracking, change orders, and contracts.
  • Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Takes ownership of their projects.
  • Communicates well.
  • Can confidently work with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Proactive, organized, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.
  • Review construction plans, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work.
  • Manage RFIs, submittments, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project costs and identify potential budget issues.
  • Conduct project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and project teams.
  • Visit jobsites regularly to monitor progress, quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Coordinate materials, manpower, equipment, and subcontractor activities.
  • Identify project risks and develop solutions to keep projects moving forward.
  • Ensure projects are completed according to plans, specifications, schedule, and budget.
  • Assist with project closeout, inspections, punch lists, and final documentation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Perform other duties related to project management as assigned.
