About The Position

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in geotechnical investigations, construction, and/or engineering projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work a 10-days-on/4-days-off rotational schedule during nuclear project assignments, returning home between rotations.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 12 or more hours.
• Ability to routinely lift and carry 40–50 pounds of equipment and samples.
• Must comply with the company's Fleet Management, Substance Policy, and Reference Check requirements.
• Must have valid employment eligibility (I-9); visa assistance is not available.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental, construction, or a related engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field drilling operations, monitor drill rig efforts to obtain samples, classify soils, and prepare boring logs.
• Analyze project data and make decisions focused on project success.
• Prepare project proposals and reports to confirm client expectations and needs are met.
• Create detailed reports with findings, insights, and recommendations for project development.
• Provide project and client support, communicate project updates, and engage with leadership in business development events.
• Collaborate with field staff, engineers, and clients to follow the Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) program and support growth of the nuclear sector.
• Develop, implement, and maintain QA program procedures and documentation in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and coordinate QA efforts across multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Conduct on-site audits, inspections, and assessments to verify compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory expectations.
• Lead or collaborate on off-site audits, inspections, and surveillance of subcontractors and vendors, including developing Commercial Grade Dedication plans.
• Interface with clients, regulators, and internal leadership in environments subject to continuous oversight and review.
• Provide clear, accurate, and timely reporting on QA performance, risks, and corrective actions.
