About The Position
Bern's Steak House is looking for a professional pastry assistant who can prep, cook and plate all menu items according to our standards. You will be required to work production shifts as well as line/plating shifts.
Requirements
- Attention to detail
- Must work well with others
- Must work quickly in a safe and effective manner
- Need to have consideration for guests and maintain a professional demeanor as this is an open station visible to guests
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume restaurant setting
Responsibilities
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, late nights and holidays
- Prep station with all necessary items for plating
- Prepare and plate all items according to Chefs' standards
- Ensure production quality of all products in high volume fine dining restaurant
- Maintain cleanliness of station throughout the entire shift
- Maintain safety standards at all times
