RF Portfolio Product Line Manager - Embedded Technologies

About The Position

AMD is seeking a RF Portfolio Product Line Manager to lead business, strategy, and product line ownership for our industry-leading Adaptive RF SoC products. This is a high-profile role with strong growth potential and compelling value propositions across key markets including Aerospace and Defense, SatCOM, Test and Measurement Equipment, and Wireless Infrastructure. The Product Line Manager will define and drive product strategy, market positioning, customer engagement, new product introduction readiness, and go-to-market execution for the Versal RF Series portfolio and Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC product line. This individual will work closely with customers, sales, field application engineers, vertical market teams, system architects, factory stakeholders, and cross-functional product teams to grow adoption and deliver business results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of RF and analog technology, including RF sampling data converters, DSP, RF and wireless systems, and embedded processing systems.
  • Experience with RF and analog manufacturing technology for packaging PCBs.
  • Proven semiconductor industry experience, preferably with sales, marketing, product management, or product line ownership exposure.
  • Strong technical and product line experience.
  • Demonstrated customer empathy, experience identifying customer needs, and understanding of customer-focused design practices.
  • Passion for winning and achieving challenging revenue, design win, and market share goals.
  • Proven experience bringing new technologies or business models to market and driving market adoption.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in a technical discipline or MBA is a plus.
  • Machine learning or AI experience is desired.
  • Knowledge of CPUs, GPUs, SoCs, and FPGAs.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage key aspects of new product introduction, working internally with factory stakeholders and externally with customers and global sales teams.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements, market trends, competitive dynamics, and financial objectives, then synthesize those inputs into a clear product line strategy.
  • Prepare go-to-market plans and track progress against NPI goals.
  • Develop NPI device and board forecasts to support business planning, supply readiness, and customer engagement.
  • Prepare and present a compelling Adaptive SoC, software, and solution value proposition to field teams and customers, incorporating AMD’s distinctive strengths.
  • Collaborate with sales, FAEs, vertical market business teams, and system architects to drive awareness of Versal portfolio hardware and software capabilities and demonstrate the value of these solutions.
  • Present and demonstrate Versal RF Series portfolio products, solutions, and technologies to customers.
  • Support ongoing Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC product line customers and requirements.
  • Support customer and field interactions, including travel as required.
