About The Position

Requirements

• Experience as an assistant in venous procedures, including endovenous laser ablation of superficial venous systems, stab phlebotomy, ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, and ligation and/or stripping of the superficial venous system.
• Previous experience evaluating and managing arterial, venous, and lymphatic disease.
• National certification in Laser Application and Safety.
• Current license as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Idaho.
• Active Idaho license or eligibility for licensure.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• Exceptional clinical judgment and procedural skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Commitment to teamwork, quality patient care, and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate vascular ultrasound reports.
• Assist with venous procedures, including endovenous laser ablation, stab phlebotomy, ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, and ligation and/or stripping of the superficial venous system.
• Evaluate and manage arterial, venous, and lymphatic disease.
• Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, fellow advanced practice providers, nurses, and specialists.
• Provide patient care as part of an established team at the Idaho Vein Center.
