About The Position

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner: Masters or Doctorate Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
• Nurse Practitioner: Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License with prescriptive privileges.
• Nurse Practitioner: National certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP); or, Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP) with minimum 3 years APP/provider experience in acute care will be considered.
• Physician Assistant: Licensure as a Physician’s Assistant in the State of Washington.
• Physician Assistant: National certification from a national certifying body (NCCPA).
• BLS certification required.
• Applicant must be eligible to receive hospital staff appointments for adjunct staff membership by the Organized Medial Staff of the hospital under Medical Staff By-Laws for hospital-based positions.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical expertise to patients and their families.
• Serves as a resource person for health care providers.
• Participates in research and teaching programs.
• Works in Inpatient Care Units and Emergency Department.
• Exercises general independence and decision-making responsibility under the general guidance of attending physicians, chief resident, and department lead APP.
