About The Position
This position will support 2nd shift occupational health operations in the Newport News Shipbuilding onsite clinic. Responsibilities will include working with a dedicated healthcare team, including physicians, nurses and medical assistants, to provide compassionate acute occupational medicine care to the workforce. The role involves utilizing clinical skills to diagnose and treat injured workers, make fitness-for-duty determinations, and assign appropriate work restrictions. The Physician Assistant will also collaborate with the health and safety team on medical and health policies to promote a safe and healthy work environment and reduce injuries.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of PA experience.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Licensed Physician Assistant.
- NCCPA certified.
Responsibilities
