About The Position

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for full-time opportunities in the Joplin, Missouri area. The role involves delivering high-quality care to pediatric and adult patients in modern urgent care centers equipped with imaging, labs, and an advanced EMR integrated with Mercy. The centers offer collaborative staffing, including radiology technicians and highly trained medical assistants.

Compensation includes competitive salary and hourly rates, a daily volume bonus based on patient-visit metrics met per shift, and a quarterly bonus of up to 5% of clinical base salary based on customer satisfaction scores and quality measures. Eligible full-time Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.

Requirements

• At least 18 months of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
• Comfort with minor procedures, including sutures, casts, and splints, and preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
• For Physician Assistants: a master’s degree and NCCPA certification.
