About The Position
Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for full-time opportunities in the Joplin and Springfield, Missouri area. Providers deliver high-quality care in modern urgent care centers equipped with imaging, labs, and an advanced EMR integrated with Mercy (Epic). The role is part of a collaborative team and a rapidly growing urgent care network. Compensation includes competitive salary and hourly rates, a daily volume bonus based on patient visit metrics per shift, and a quarterly bonus of up to 5% of clinical base salary based on customer satisfaction scores and quality measures. Eligible full-time Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.
Requirements
- At least 18 months of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting.
- Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
- Comfort with minor procedures, including sutures, casts, and splints, and preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
- Nurse Practitioners must have a master's degree and appropriate certification from AANC or AANP.
