About The Position
Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to provide high-quality patient care in state-of-the-art urgent care centers in the Joplin/Springfield, Missouri area. The centers are equipped with imaging, labs, and an advanced EMR integrated with Mercy (Epic), with collaborative staffing that includes radiology technicians and highly trained medical assistants. The position offers competitive salary and hourly rates, a monthly daily-volume bonus based on patient visits per shift, and a quarterly bonus of up to 5% of clinical base salary based on customer satisfaction and quality measures. Requirements
- At least 18 months of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting.
- Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
- Comfort with minor procedures such as sutures, casts, and splints, and with preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
- Physician Assistants must have a master's degree and NCCPA certification.
- Nurse Practitioners must have a master's degree and appropriate AANC or AANP certification.
Responsibilities

- Provide preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
