About The Position
Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is hiring experienced Physician Assistants for full-time opportunities in the Springfield and Joplin, Missouri areas. The role delivers high-quality care to pediatric and adult patients in state-of-the-art urgent care centers, as part of a collaborative clinical team. Centers are equipped with imaging, labs, and an advanced EMR integrated with Mercy (Epic). The position offers a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000, competitive salary and hourly rates, daily volume bonuses, and quarterly bonuses of up to 5% of clinical base salary based on customer satisfaction and quality measures. Mercy-GoHealth describes its environment as provider- and patient-friendly, with supportive staffing that includes radiologic technologists and trained medical assistants. Relocation assistance may be available where applicable. Mercy is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system serving communities across seven states.
Requirements
- At least 18 months of full-time experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in urgent care or emergency medicine.
- Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
- Comfort with minor procedures, including sutures, casts, and splints.
- Comfort providing preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
- Master’s degree.
- NCCPA certification.
