Physician - Sign On Bonus $15,000
About The Position
GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking progressive, entrepreneurial full-time physicians with adult and pediatric experience to join its Northwell provider community at the Dongan Hills and Bulls Head locations in Staten Island. Physicians provide urgent care to patients of all ages, supported by on-site radiology technologists, medical assistants, and scribes. The centers are equipped with imaging, labs, and an advanced ECW EMR. The role offers autonomy with mentoring and support, flexible scheduling, opportunities to trade or pick up shifts, and the option to rotate among locations. Centers operate Monday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to midnight. Providers are required to work two 16-hour shifts per week. Compensation is $135–$160 per hour based on experience, with an additional $30 per hour from 8 p.m. to midnight. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is advertised.
Requirements
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Med-Peds, or Emergency Medicine.
- 1–2 years of experience in an urgent care or emergency room setting treating patients of all ages, from 6 months and older.
- Comfort with minor procedures, including sutures and splints.
- Ability to read EKGs and X-rays.
- M.D. or D.O.
