About The Position

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is hiring experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for full-time opportunities in the Joplin, Missouri area. The role involves delivering high-quality care to pediatric and adult patients in modern urgent care centers. Centers are equipped with imaging, labs, and an advanced EMR integrated with Mercy (Epic), and provide collaborative staffing that includes radiologic technologists and trained medical assistants.

Compensation includes competitive salary or hourly rates, a daily volume bonus based on patient visits per shift, and a quarterly bonus of up to 5% of clinical base salary based on customer satisfaction and quality measures. Eligible full-time Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000. Requirements

• At least 18 months of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
• Comfort with minor procedures, including sutures, casts, and splints, and preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
• Physician Assistants must have a master's degree and NCCPA certification.
• Nurse Practitioners must have a master's degree and appropriate AANC or AANP certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality urgent care to pediatric and adult patients.
• Perform minor procedures such as sutures, casts, and splints.
• Conduct preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
