About The Position

GoHealth Urgent Care, in partnership with Northwell Health, is seeking full-time Physician Assistants with adult and pediatric experience to provide urgent care in a network of centers across the New York City metro area and Long Island. The position offers $68–$89 per hour based on experience, with an additional $30 per hour differential from 8 p.m. to midnight. Full-time providers are eligible for a bonus; a $15,000 sign-on bonus is stated in the job title. Centers are equipped with imaging, laboratories, and an advanced ECW electronic medical record. Providers have autonomy with mentoring and support, and work with on-site radiologic technologists and medical assistants who assist with vitals, medication reviews, splinting, and administration of medications and vaccines. Providers may rotate among locations. Centers operate Monday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to midnight. The provider is required to work two 16-hour shifts per week.

Requirements

Physician Assistant with at least two years of full-time experience in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting treating patients of all ages, six months and older.
Comfort performing minor procedures, including sutures and splints.
Ability to read EKGs and X-rays.
