About The Position

Requirements

• Be licensed, or able to obtain licensure, to practice in the state of Florida.
• Have part-time availability Monday through Friday, with a 7 a.m. start time.
• Have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Be able to multitask and demonstrate attention to detail.
• Have knowledge of EHR, Excel, and Word documents.
• Communicate effectively and professionally.
• Maintain discretion, accuracy, and confidentiality with all patients.
• Be able to frequently stand, sit, and walk.
• Have computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Ophthalmology experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery.
• Verify patient information by interviewing patients, reviewing medical histories, taking vital signs, and confirming the purpose of visits.
• Complete physical exams to determine patient eligibility for outpatient surgery.
• Educate patients as needed.
• Record patient examinations, treatment, and test results to complete medical records.
